The Eildon Groundwater Management Area (GMA) extends from the Victorian Alps to the dam wall at Eildon. It includes the Goulburn River, Big River, Jamieson River, Delatite River, Merton Creek and Ford Creek catchments.
The Eildon GMA includes the towns of Mansfield, Jamieson and Eildon.

Groundwater management
The Eildon Groundwater Management Area Local Management Plan was developed by Goulburn-Murray Water in consultation with the Goulburn Broken Water Services Committee made up of surface water and groundwater customers and representatives from key stakeholder agencies.
The Plan aims to provide the local community, and in particular licensed groundwater users, with information about the groundwater system and rules describing how the resource is managed.
