The new system will enhance your interactions with Goulburn-Murray Water, streamlining the process of ordering water and bolstering webpage security. Developed with valuable customer feedback and a deep understanding of service usage, this tool is designed to be more user-friendly, offer new functionalities, and ensure that  Goulburn-Murray Water systems  remain robust, secure, and s upported .

Yes, your credentials will remain the same. The only change is your user number will now be called your username when logging in

The new WaterLINE webpage will have a reset password feature that will allow you to perform a password self-reset.  To perform a password self-reset your account must have a valid e-mail address setup on the account and you must know your username.

An email with password reset instructions will be sent to your e-mail address.

W aterLINE  is web-based, allowing it to function on any internet-enabled device. It has been  optimised for mobile use, ensuring smooth performance on your phone, desktop, tablet, or laptop.
However, it is important your device is supported, and your software is up to date.

Yes, WaterLINE is fully supported on Apple iPhone and iPad.

Once you are successfully logged in to the new  WaterLINE , you will see all your existing and past orders. This information is available  to the new platform and will be ready for you to pick up  and manage them seamlessly.

Goulburn-Murray Water is planning to run the two webpages in parallel for a period to allow  customers to migrate to the new webpage the next time you need to place an order or review your water statement. The old webpage will still be available for  a short period of time to help the transition.

WaterLINE   is web-based which means it can work on any device that has access to the internet. There is no need to download any app or special software. To make it easier to regularly access the platform you can create an app shortcut on your phone. Instructions will be made available via the Goulburn-Murray Water webpage.

Yes,  the  telephone water ordering system  will continue to  operate for the  foreseeable future . New features that will allow customers to place calls to planners via the new  WaterLINE is in development that will allow Goulburn-Murray Water to continue to  provide a way for customers to contact our planners when they  require  assistance .

Closer to the release of the new  WaterLINE , support videos and how to guides will be provided to  assist customers with how to use the new webpage. A know ledgebase with links on how to perform most functions  is available via the menu once you have logged into the new  WaterLINE .

What is WaterLINE?

WaterLINE is GMW’s online and telephone water ordering system. It allows customers to manage their water delivery 24 hours a day.

Through WaterLINE you can:

  • Lodge irrigation orders
  • Confirm irrigation start times
  • View your Allocation Account (ABA) balance and transaction history
  • Enter meter readings to help manage your entitlement
  • Check outlet capacity and channel availability (online only)
  • Contact Water Delivery Consultants
  • Communicate delivery instructions and changes

How to login

To login to WaterLINE online or by telephone please use the following details:

  • WaterLINE User Number
  • Waterline Password - If you do not have a password or you have forgotten your password please call GMW’s 24 hour emergency line: 1800 064 184. When you login for the first time, after the welcome message you will be prompted to change your password.

Required notice for ordering water

In systems that have not been fully modernised 48 hours notice is required for each water order placed. This enables planning to improve channel supply efficiency and reduces system losses and the number of adjustments required at regulators.

In modernised systems automation of the channel system and planning means that much shorter notice for orders is available. 24 hours is the required notice period for customers on a fully automated system.

Our WaterLINE Water Order Books help you monitor your water use. This useful tool provides:

  • 24 hour clock conversion chart.

WaterLINE order books are free and are available from your local GMW Customer Service Centre or you can request a copy to be posted by calling 1800 013 357.
