Same service with more options for our customers

GMW is continuing to improve services to its customers by providing more flexibility to get in touch with us when needed.

An online booking system is now available to make an appointment with a GMW representative via phone or an online meeting. On-farm visits are also available in line with coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions and when staff return to the office, face-to-face meetings will also be able to be booked via the new system.

GMW Water Delivery Services General Manager, Warren Blyth said by bolstering new customer self-service options, GMW hopes to offer a more tailored and fit for purpose experience.

“Using our new online booking system, will see customers put in touch with the right GMW person at a time and location that suits them as well as providing a more efficient service,” he said.

“While we do want to encourage our customers to use the new appointment booking service we acknowledge that traditional methods of communications and local knowledge will always be valued and something we will continue to provide.

“This will not change our customer service levels, rather we are providing more options for customers to engage our services at a time that suits them, particularly at our regional office locations.”

As part of the broader planning GMW is currently undertaking in preparing offices to reopen when coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions ease, a new contact model has been rolled out:

Area West: will service the Kerang and Pyramid Hill offices.

Area Central: will service the Rochester and Kyabram offices.

Area East: will service the Shepparton and Cobram offices.

Tatura: will remain unchanged.

There will be changes to the days the six regional offices are open once permitted to under the Victorian Government’s ‘COVID-19 normal’ guidelines. These will be communicated as part of offices reopening once it is safe to do so.
