GMW customers to help shape their future services

Tuesday 9 August, 2022

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is looking to its customers to help determine the future service needs of its Water Supply and Pumped Irrigation districts.

A series of workshops will see GMW engage with customers to learn more about how it can improve its services.

GMW Strategy and Services general manager Daniel Irwin said the feedback received at these workshops would help guide future investment.

“We want to understand what our customers priorities are so we can plan accordingly,” he said.

“Based on previous customer engagement, we have identified various improvements we can make to our Water Supply Districts and Pumped Irrigation services, but we want to make sure any investments we plan to make are supported by our customers.

“These workshops will consequently help shape our 2024 Pricing Submission.”

GMW will hold workshops in Pyramid Hill, Tungamah and Swan Hill from August 22-29. Each workshop will run for about 90 minutes, with online sessions also available to customers who are unable to make it in person.

GMW is asking customers to register for the workshops so they can be sent more details closer to the date.

“The knowledge our customers have is invaluable,” Mr Irwin said.

“These workshops are a great opportunity for us to ensure our customers are getting maximum value for money.”
