Opportunity for GMW customers to have their say

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is continuing to engage with customers to help further inform the development of its Service Plans.

Gravity irrigation, diversion and drainage customers are being invited to take part in a series of customer focus groups between November 22 and December 3.

GMW Strategy and Services Planning general manager Daniel Irwin said the focus groups were the next step in GMW’s engagement program following the recent survey seeking customer feedback on the opportunities to improve services.

“During the sessions, we will discuss feedback from the survey and ‘deep dive’ into the key themes to help further inform the development of GMW’s Gravity and Diversions Service Plans,” he said.

Each focus group session will run for about two hours through an interactive online format, and will be facilitated by a GMW staff member.

Places are limited to 10 customers per focus group to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to have their say.

“We are seeking representation across our gravity irrigation and diversion customer groups to ensure these discussions and the feedback we receive is transparent and reflective of these customer groups,” Mr Irwin said.

Gravity focus groups

West (Loddon Valley and Torrumbarry)

November 23 - noon; November 30 - 6.30pm

Central (Rochester and Central Goulburn) 

November 24 - noon; December 1 - 6.30pm

 East (Murray Valley and Shepparton) 

November 25 - noon; December 2 - 6.30pm 

 

Diversion focus groups

Groundwater 

November 23 - 6.30pm; November 30 - noon 

Regulated 

November 24 - 6.30pm; December 1 - noon 

Regulated D&S 

November 26 - noon; November 29 - 6.30pm 

Unregulated
