Urgent Safety rule for Lake Eppalock

Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic), Section 186

I, Cameron Toy, Director Maritime Safety (as delegate of the Director, Transport Safety) make the following Urgent Safety Rule under section 186(2)(b) of the Maritime Safety Act 2010.

The waterway rules as detailed in Schedule 49, Lake Eppalock, Clause 49.6 and 49.2(b)(i) as published in the Victoria Government Gazette, S221 on 28 June 2012 are temporarily revoked for the term of this Urgent Safety Rule.

Waterway Rule

All the waters of Randells Cove north east of the points in Table 1 are set aside for the exclusive use by bathers and manually operated craft.

Table 1 - Latitude and Longitude points in the waters of Randells cove - North east of these points is set aside for the exclusive use by bathers and manually operated craft.

The waters of Strath Cove north of the points in Table 2 are set aside for the exclusive use by bathers and manually operated craft.
