Board & Management
Corporate Structure
The Corporation is headed by a Board that comprises eight Directors. The Minister administering the Water Act 1989 appoints the Directors for their skills and expertise.
Management Structure
The organisation is structured into four business divisions: Operations Division, Technical Services Division, Business Modernisation Division and Corporate Services Division.
Employees
Goulburn-Murray Water had 683 employees at 30 June 2008.
Customer Committees
Water Services Committees are established by the Board to represent customer groups. They have been operating since 1993.
The twelve Water Services Committees advise the Board and represent customers in the six Irrigation Areas, private diverters in the Murray and Goulburn River Systems, groundwater users across the Goulburn-Murray Water region and Domestic and Stock customers in Waterworks Districts.
These committees play a vital role in defining services, standards of service and asset maintenance, and infrastructure replacement priorities.
