The Minister for Treaty and First Peoples has used her powers under section 103 of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 to make an Ongoing Protection Declaration (the Declaration) for Ghow Swamp Aboriginal Place.
Under the declaration, fishing is allowed at Ghow Swamp, either from land or from a human-powered craft such as canoe, kayak, rowboat, surf-ski or stand-up paddle board. The use of motorised vehicles is not permitted.
