GMW podcast proving popular with listeners

Wednesday 6 October, 2021

Goulburn-Murray Water’s (GMW) latest podcast has dropped.

This month’s Talking Water with GMW episode features GMW Recreation and Land officer Chris Braden.

Mr Braden talks about the recreational offerings at GMW’s storages and waterways, the economic and quality of life benefits they create, how storage facilities are funded, and plans to make storages accessible to people of all abilities.

It is the third episode in the monthly podcast series, following on from Water Systems Operations manager Craig Kellow last month and Northern Victoria Resource manager Dr Mark Bailey in August.

GMW Customers and Stakeholders general manager Ann Telford said the podcast was proving popular with listeners interested in all things water.

“The Talking Water with GMW webpage has been visited more than 300 times since the podcast was launched in August,” she said.

“Short, accessible, and informal conversations about water-related topics that impact our customers, the podcast allows listeners to delve into topics without having to set aside time to read or watch a video.”

You can listen to the podcast on the GMW website, or download them from Pod Bean, Apple Podcasts, or Google Podcasts.
