Initial surveillance indicates that there has been no damage observed or reported at Goulburn Murray Water (GMW) storages following this morning's earthquakes.
Additional surveillance is being undertaken at storages in line with Dam Safety Emergency Plans.
GMW Water Storages Services general manager Martina Cusack said the dams were designed to withstand these levels of earthquakes.
“We are doing additional surveillance as a precautionary measure and we are continuing to monitor events,” she said.
