Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) wishes to notify customers about an important date change in relation to end of season water trading.
For customers who wish to sell, carryover or relinquish any unused water, trade applications should be lodged with GMW by June 27, or June 29 if the application is made through the online trading portal.
Online applications must be lodged by June 29 to allow the Victorian Water Register to run end of season processes to enable the market to reopen on July 2.
June 30 had previously been notified as the deadline for online trading.
“Unfortunately as June 30 falls on a Saturday, online trades will be unable to be processed that day. The final date for online trade processing is June 29, with the Victorian Water Register’s My Water portal closing at 5pm,” General Manager Customer Operations Scott Barber said.
