Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) has announced the members of the customer reference group for its upcoming Diversions Cost Review.
The review will investigate the fees relating to GMW’s diversions service and assess the underlying data that determines the service’s costs.
The customer reference group will support the review by providing feedback on the review’s direction and deliverables.
GMW Diversions Groundwater and Streams manager Peter Clydesdale said it had been a competitive application process.
“We greatly appreciate everyone who took the time to apply,” he said.
“We received a lot of expressions of interest from people across our diversions region.
“The large pool of applicants has helped us choose a reference group that is reflective of the broad range of diversions customers we service.”
The follow diversions customers have been selected for the community reference group:
- Nicholas Legge
- Geoff Voigt
- Cameron Reid
- Graeme Watson
- Christopher David Ramsay
- Heather Thompson
- Peter Serpell
- Jason Reid
- Chloe Giltrap
- Adrian Tuddenham
- Richard Carter
These members represent diversions customers from regulated, unregulated and groundwater services.
The reference group will have its first meeting on Wednesday, 28 August at Benalla.
“We’re looking forward to meeting with the customer reference group and beginning the conversation on how we can best ensure our diversions fees align with the services we are providing,” Mr Clydesdale said.
