Prepare for dry
In northern Victoria, water availability can change quickly - sometimes from one season to the next. That’s why being prepared isn’t just a good idea - it’s essential.
Climate variability is part of our reality. In October 2022 we were experiencing floods. In 2025 and 2026, northern Victoria is experiencing warmer weather and below median rainfall.
Dry conditions are a normal part of northern Victoria’s climate. Preparedness is a shared responsibility. GMW, our partners, and our customers all play a role in monitoring conditions, planning for the season ahead, and responding to changes in water availability.
