This form should be used for the following:

  • Purchasing GMW Land – All sale of GMW surplus land is governed by the Victorian Government Land Transactions Policy. In most instances we cannot deal with individuals or entities without Ministerial Approval.  More information on purchasing land before submitting your enquiry (opens in a new window) NOTE: Prior to completing this form please make contact on 1800 013 357 or via propertyservices@gmwater.com.au. (Complete Sections 1-3, 7 & 8) 
  • Letters of Consent – Required to register a transfer of land, plan of subdivision or refinancing. (Complete Sections 1-4 & 8)
  • Easements – on Title in favour of GMW. (Complete Sections 1-4 & 8)
  • Caveats – withdrawal from Title. (Complete Sections 1-4 & 8)
  • Development/Planning Enquiries – Any other Development Enquiry seeking preliminary planning advice. eg. Subdivisions, dwellings, mining applications, rural industry, group accommodation, sheds. (Complete Sections 1-3, 5 & 8)
  • Agreements – eg. Section 173. (Complete Sections 1-3 & 6-8)
  • Other – (Complete Sections 1-3, 7 & 8)

Additional fees may apply subject to assessment:

  • Technical Assessment/Advice – all land enquiries for High Risk or Complex Applications.   - $150/hr

Applying as a Company

Please note when applying as a company:

  • You must provide the details of those persons duly authorised to sign on behalf of the company in accordance with section 127(1) of the Corporations Act 2001; two directors, alternatively one director and one secretary, unless there is a sole director and secretary of the company.
  • A current (less than 12 months old) copy of an ASIC Company Search listing all directors and/or office bearers must be provided.
