Water Districts Customer Committee

GMW’s Water Districts Customer Committee represents our water district customers, with one representative each for Tungamah, Normanville, East Loddon, Mitiamo, East Loddon (North) and West Loddon.

The East Loddon (North) position is currently vacant.

Members of our Water Districts Customer Committee will be able to raise issues and opportunities and have input into a range of initiatives such as:

  • Scenario planning for GMW’s drought and climate action responses
  • GMW’s Pricing Submission 2028-2032
  • GMW’s asset management profiling
  • Long-term planning for water districts
  • Improvements to GMW’s services and customer experience
  • Meeting with other agencies such as DEECA, Agriculture Victoria and Catchment Management Authorities.

The Water Districts Customer Committee will meet at least once a year, as well as attending an annual summit.

Committee membership

Peter Jeffrey (Tungamah)

Farmer with over 40 years in the region, actively involved in local groups. Brings valuable community perspective and a strong commitment to local wellbeing.

Roger Nolan (Normanville)

Retired accountant in public practice and farmer with over 40 years in the district. Provides deep community ties, governance and leadership experience.

Garry Addlem (East Loddon)

Loddon district local with more than 30 years on GMW committees, solid pipeline knowledge, and community relationships. Offers grassroots insight and broad regional networks.

Neil Allen (Mitiamo)

Victorian Farmers Federation member with 50 years of farming experience, instrumental in launching the Mitiamo pipeline. Maintains solid community ties and has proven negotiation skills.

Jim Chalmers (West Loddon)

Cropping farmer and long-time pipeline committee member, founding Boort Grain Co-op member, and Country Fire Authority volunteer with established local networks.
