This research project was developed to gain an increased understanding of control methods for arrowhead and their relative effectiveness in channels, drains and natural waterways. The project was jointly funded by G-MW, the GBCMA and Murray Irrigation.
Management and control practices for arrowhead are being modified to reflect the outcomes of this report and are part of the strategic plan for managment of arrowhead across the Murray Darling Basin. Research into control measures has also been supported by modelling of arrowhead spread by the eWater CRC.
