eWater CRC

CRC eWater projects of particular relevance to G-MW include:

 

  • Development of river operations and river planning models to allow prediction, optimisation and evaluation of water resource and environmental outcomes.  The components of this modelling process are expected to replace Resource Allocation Model (REALM) software.
  • Modelling the spread of the invasive aquatic weed Arrowhead along the River Murray and associated wetlands.
  • Investigation of the impacts of catchment development on water yield and contamination of water supplies in the Eppalock Reservoir catchment.
  • Flood forecasting in association with the Bureau of Meteorology.
