Preparing for the Future
The Whole of Life Report is the first objective and comprehensive review of the future costs that will determine the future prices for water delivery services in G-MW's Irrigation Areas. Its rigorous investigation provides an understanding of the costs of operating, maintaining and ultimately replacing water delivery assets over the next 20 to 50 years.
G-MW investigated the longer term impact of continuing with business as usual and compared this revenue requirement with the requirements created by National Metering Standards, G-MW's Shepparton and Central Goulburn 1-4 modernisation projects as well as both stages of NVIRP.
The report is the result of six months of rigorous investigation and has been subject to independent review. G-MW acknowledges many aspects could change over the 50 year time frame and this would impact on the current report's assumptions and findings.
