Unbundled Trading Fees
PRESCRIBED FEES FOR APPLICATIONS IN RELATION TO WATER SHARES AND WATER ALLOCATIONS
The following tables show the fees prescribed in the Water (Resource Management) Regulations for applications in relation to water shares and water allocations for the 2007/08 financial year. These fees are calculated by reference to a fee unit, the value of which is fixed for each financial year by the Treasurer of Victoria under the Monetary Units Act 2004 based on consideration of the consumer price index (CPI).
The applications and application fees that are payable to the Water Authority are described in tables 1 and 2. (The tables describe the fee, the relevant section of the Water Act which the application is made under, and the application form that must be filled-in).
Some combinations of applications can be grouped. Where these combinations of applications are made at the same time in respect of the same water share, water allocation, or use of water only the one application fee is payable. In almost all instances a combination of applications is dealt with in a single application form and this is described in table 1.
However, in two instances two different application forms with respect to the same water share can be ‘combined' by submitting at the same time, and only one single application fee is payable. This is described in table 2.

Each of the application forms below refer to applications for the Water Authority's approval under delegation by the Minister for Water, with respect to dealings with water shares and water allocations. The table also describes the applications that can be undertaken under that specific application form and the application fee that applies.
Where multiple application forms are lodged with the Water Authority at the same time, a single application fee is payable. These are described in table 2.
