Goulburn-Murray Water has announced that permanent water trade out of the Campaspe Irrigation Area, effective for the 2006/07 irrigation season, has now been suspended.
The suspension was introduced after permanent trading for 2006/07 reached the 4% allowable limit for water entitlement leaving this Area. If transfers of entitlement into the Area reduce the net trade out to less than 4% during the 2006/07 year, transfers out will be allowed until the 4% limit is reached again.
This information will be made available via Goulburn-Murray Water’s weekly Dam Levels advertisement, which is published in local newspapers throughout the Irrigation Areas. Alternatively, prospective sellers can contact the Tatura office for this information.
