A Stop Supply has been placed on G-MW customers who have not paid their overdue Fixed Charges Accounts.
G-MW General Manager, Water Services, Graeme Hannan said that a Stop Supply placed on a customers account will mean that the customer is unable to order water for delivery until their account is paid in full or a payment plan has been organised with G-MW.
"Customers with unpaid Fixed Charges Accounts received reminder letters after their accounts were due and then received overdue notices which were posted on Friday 6 January," said Mr Hannan.
"The vast majority of customers are up to date with the payment of their accounts, so a Stop Supply is applicable only to about 1500 services, or about 10% of gravity irrigation customers whose payment is overdue and who have failed to contact us to make a suitable payment arrangement. The number of services with a Stop Supply is about the same as in other years," said Mr Hannan.
"Fixed Charges Accounts were due to be paid in full on Friday 16 December 2011 for customers from all areas (excluding Loddon Valley Irrigation Area, Loddon Water Districts and Nyah Pumped District) not paying by instalments." Mr Hannan added.
Customers should pay their overdue account or organise a payment plan as soon as possible by contacting G-MW Accounts on 1300 553 200.
