Goulburn-Murray
Water this week launched a new online payment system allowing G-MW customers
the option to pay their account online with the convenience of 24 hour a day 7
day a week access.
G-MW Water
Administration Manager Ruth McGrath said the service would give customers the
flexibility to pay their G-MW account from either a bank account or on credit
card.
"Customers can access the online payment
system from G-MW's home page at www.g-mwater.com.au
and click on the online payment option," Ms McGrath said.
Many farm enterprises already use online
payment facilities for other on-farm and business services.
"The ability to pay online adds to the range
of convenient ways customers are able to pay their account. Of course they will still have the option to
pay their account at Australia Post, via BPay, by phone using their Credit
Card, Direct Debit, by mail or in person at the G-MW office in Tatura, if they
choose to," Ms McGrath said.
This new initiative is part of a range of online
services that G-MW is now offering customers such as irrigator e-news, Water LINE online water ordering and Water Service
Committee webpages.
Earlier in the month G-MW launched a pricing
simulator also available from the website that gives customers an indication of
prices for their individual operations across all G-MW Irrigation Areas and
will be expanded to reflect the full range of services including groundwater,
river diversions and drainage in coming months.
G-MW currently receives an average of 1,300
website visits each day.
