Mr Shane McGrath has been appointed Acting Managing Director of Goulburn-Murray Water (G-MW).
Mr Stephen Mills, Chairman of G-MW's Board, said Mr David Stewart, the current Managing Director, is taking a leave of absence due to ill health and will not return until the new year.
"We wish David a speedy recovery and in his absence have placed the organisation in the hands of Shane McGrath who is well known to our customers and stakeholders," said Mr Mills.
"Shane has more than 30 years experience in the water industry and is currently the General Manager for Infrastructure, responsible for all G-MW's built and environmental assets, including the modernised gravity irrigation system and dams portfolio," Mr Mills said.
