Goulburn-Murray Water announces new customer service centre at Wangaratta

Goulburn-Murray Water's (G-MW) new office in Wangaratta will bring G-MW's North East diversions and dams management staff to one location and provide local customers with an opportunity to discuss their G-MW service enquiry in person.

G-MW General Manager Operations, Ian Moorhouse, said the new customer service centre is a more customer friendly service centre located in Murrell Street, the former Telstra Depot, with easy access from the Freeway and Greta Road. 

"It is an exciting time for Wangaratta and water services in the North East as we welcome Stephen Gemmill as the new Coordinator, North East," said Mr Moorhouse.

Stephen has 15 years experience with G-MW and will provide a new front-line contact point for customers.

"Stephen will be responsible for day to day delivery of water services, with a key focus on improving       G-MW's services and responses to the water issues of North East customers,"

"Half of G-MW's customers are located in the North East of the State and the new Wangaratta centre is an important part of our customer service improvement program," Mr Moorhouse said.

The G-MW Wangaratta Office will be open from 8am to 4:45pm Monday to Friday and can be contacted on phone (03) 5723 2501 or fax (03) 5723 2535.
