Deadlines for processing Water Share applications
|
Applications received before Friday 18 June 2010
|
|
G-MW
will endeavour to process applications received before 18 June in the current
2009/10 season.
If
your application is exempted from or not affected by the 4% limit, submitting
your application before 18 June will help to minimise any possible delays in
processing.
|
|
Applications received Monday 21
June- Friday 9 July 2010
|
|
All
water share applications received by G-MW during this period will be included
in the 2010/11 ballot. The ballot will determine the processing order for
applications subject to 4% limit as well as:
-
applications exempt from the 4% limit
-
to transfer water shares and land within an irrigation area,
-
to transfer water shares held by river diverters and non water users, and
-
all other non transfer applications - such as divisions and consolidations.
|
|
Applications received after Friday 9 July 2010
|
|
G-MW
will not begin processing applications received after 9 July until all ballot
applications have been processed.
If
G-MW receives a large number of ballot applications it may take several
months to complete processing and begin processing post-ballot applications.
