What is WaterLINE?

WaterLINE is an online or telephone communication system which has streamlined contact between Customers and Goulburn-Murray Water.

What is WaterLINE used for?

- Lodging irrigation orders

- Leaving messages with orders

- Talking to a planner (telephone only, during business hours)

- Confirming irrigation start time

All via the internet or a single telephone number giving 24 hour service at the touch of a button.

How does WaterLINE operate?

Customers need access to the internet or a touch tone telephone, a user number and a PIN (Personal Identification Number)

Each Customer is provided with a WaterLINE Information Kit which includes their User Number and PIN.

For WaterLine telephone ordering:

Customers dial the local (Area) telephone number.

After the welcome message a prompt will request User Number and PIN.

The main menu functions will then be listed.

From the main menu Customers can choose to:

Enter an order
Find out start times
Speak to a planner
Leave a message for a planner
Use special functions (to change PIN; enter special orders; find out entitlement details)
Speak to an operator
End the call

Once an option has been selected, prompts will be given.

What are the benefits of WaterLINE?

Customers need only make one telephone call to lodge an order,talk to a Planner, receive messages from Goulburn-Murray Water staff and confirm irrigation start times. WaterLINE is accessible twenty-four hours a day for ordering.

WaterLINE checks information as it is entered and the playback facility allows Customers to listen to the order(s) entered and make corrections. More accurate order information will result in better service delivery.
