Finance and Technology
John joined G-MW in July 2011 with 15 years of financial and general management experience obtained in senior positions in infrastructure and infrastructure advisory businesses in Australia and internationally. John has most recently held CFO positions in both publicly listed and privately held electricity distribution businesses. With strong skills across financial management, governance, economic regulation and business performance John leads the Finance and Technology division of G-MW.

Kevin Preece has over 30 years of water industry experience including 10 years in irrigation system operations leadership. He brings skills across a range of disciplines including public and private irrigation and drainage system design and construction, irrigation research and development, system modernisation, customer engagement and operational management.  He is the General Manager of the six large irrigation areas that make up the Modernised Irrigation Business of G-MW and is responsible for all retail customer services and engagement activity.

Shane has 30 years experience in the management, construction and upgrading of major water supply works both in Australia and overseas, with particular expertise in dams. Victorian State Representative for the Australian National Committee On Large Dams (ANCOLD). Past Chairman Goulburn Valley Group, Institution of Engineers, Australia. Churchill Fellow, 2000.

Graeme Hannan has 14 years of experience in water resource management with Goulburn-Murray Water. In his present role as General Manager Water Services, Graeme is responsible for the Resource Manager functions delegated to Goulburn-Murray Water by Minister for Water. Prior to his appointment at Goulburn-Murray Water he worked in the water sector in the Consulting industry for 16 years.
